Forehand |
As you start forehand you have to open your racket to get the swing. To open your racket make your arm do a sort of wheel and when the ball comes try and hit it. Try not to be to close or too far from the ball. This is the explaination for open stance. If you are right handed place your right leg on your right and bend your knee a bit. Your left leg has to be to your left and don't put a lot of wieght on it. That is open stance. The open stance increases the spin so when you hit the ball as it lands the ball spits away. If you are left handed place your left leg on your left but that is the one that you have to put more wieght on and bend your knee a bit. Another very common stance is the neutral stance which gives you more power. You place your left leg infront of your right leg if you are right handed and bend your left leg and put more wieght on it. If you are left handed you put your right leg infront of your left leg. |
